Health Minister Aamir Mahmood Kiani paid a visit to District Headquarter Hospital, Holy Family, Benazir Hospital in Rawalpindi and PIMS in Islamabad on Saturday.
During the visit, he inspected the facilities being provided to the patients in these hospitals.
He also interacted with under treatment patients and directed the hospitals administration to address the problems being faced by them at the earliest.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that Pakistan Tehrik-Insaf government is giving special attention to health and hospitals are being equipped with modern facilities.
He said budget allocation on health sector will also be increased.
Aamir Kiani said that 17.5 million people will get benefits of the Health Cards scheme by the end of this month.
