Prime Minister in his message on the National day of Saudi Arabia while felicitating the nation and its rupler vowed said KSA stood side by side with Pakistan in every hard time.
He said that people of Pakistan and Saudia are tied with the brotherhood.
PM Imran Khan also expressed good wishes for the royal family of Saudi Arabia.
Earlier on September 19, Prime Minister Imran Khan held a meeting with Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz to discuss matters of mutual interest, bilateral relations, trade, investment and other economic affairs.
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Finance Minister Asad Umar, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhary, Adviser on Commerce Abdul Razak Dawood, and Pakistan’s Ambassador in KSA Hasham bin Siddique also attended the meeting.
The prime minister was received by King Salman at his Palace in Jeddah, where he was presented with a guard of honor and a state banquet was hosted for him and his entourage.
In the meeting, the two leaders discussed the bilateral relationship, the regional and global political situation and the issues confronting Muslim Ummah.
They expressed their desire to further enhance and diversify bilateral cooperation and to continue close coordination on issues of mutual interest.
Pakistan and Saudi Arabia reaffirmed their historical and brotherly ties, rooted in bonds of common religion, shared culture and values and quest for regional and global peace and security. Both sides expressed satisfaction at the convergence of views on a host of regional and global issues, as well as the issues faced by Muslim Ummah.
