Paramount Animation & Nickelodeon Movies reveal the first teaser trailer for the next big SpongeBob movie titled officially The SpongeBob Movie: Search for Squarepants, arriving in theaters at the end of 2025. This is a fully animated continuation of the recent SpongeBob movies, sticking to the plot of focusing on SpongeBob and his friends – this time the adventure involves pirates and more. Desperate to be a big guy, SpongeBob sets out to prove his bravery to Mr. Krabs by following The Flying Dutchman – a mysterious swashbuckling ghost pirate – on a seafaring comedy-adventure that takes him to the deepest depths of the deep sea, where no Sponge has gone before. But why are they search for his Squarepants? Featuring the voices of the original Tom Kenny, with Clancy Brown, Rodger Bumpass, Bill Fagerbakke, Carolyn Lawrence, Mr. Lawrence, George Lopez, Isis "Ice Spice" Gaston, Arturo Castro, Sherry Cola, plus Regina Hall and Mark Hamill voicing "The Flying Dutchman".
