Sony Pictures Classics has revealed an official trailer for a British film titled The Choral, telling another story from the days of The Great War at the start of the 20th Century. The film is premiering at the 2025 Toronto Film Festival first this September, before opening in US theaters in December during Christmas. It will debut first in UK cinemas over there on November 7th. Set in 1916 in England. A choral society's male members enlist in World War I, leaving the demanding Dr. Guthrie to recruit many teenagers instead. Together, the choir experiences the joy of singing while the young boys grapple with impending conscription into the military. "The best response to the chaos that is laying waste to their lives is to make music together." Starring Ralph Fiennes as the choir leader Dr. Guthrie, along with Roger Allam, Mark Addy, Alun Armstrong, Robert Emms, Simon Russell Beale, & Ignatius Burrows.
