Fun Trailer for Pumpkin Contest Comedy 'Grow' Featuring Nick Frost

"This ain't some grow-your-own-salad school project. This is all-out vegetable warfare!" Sky Cinema has debuted the first official trailer for a fun family comedy called Grow, ready for release in the UK in October. Grow is a Sky Original film directed by Scottish filmmaker John McPhail (of Anna and the Apocalypse) and it just premiered at the 2025 Edinburgh Film Festival over the weekend. An exuberant tale full of giant pumpkins, madcap characters, and a little girl who just might be a pumpkin-growing savant. This looks like a good time! In Grow, a troubled young girl begins a new life living with her tough aunt and discovers a supernatural talent that might help her win the contentious local pumpkin-growing contest. Described as a "thoroughly entertaining family film which fuses twisted humour and wild imagination with a stirring story of family healing, all set against the backdrop of an apparently sleepy Scottish town."
